Falcon uses Trimble Pro XRS receivers
with OmniSTAR high data rate L-Band real-
time correction for reliable sub-meter “on-
the-fly” accuracy. This arrangement simultaneously provides our customers sub-
meter internal grid precision with sub-meter
geodetic reference for each grid point. We
have removed the guesswork from you GIS
database. In other words your grid is tied
to real earth coordinates.

For typical “open sky” projects in Nevada our tests show that we typically achieve +/- one foot accuracy of position at 95% confidence with this equipment.

For centimeter level survey such as for drill holes or local grid control points we use carrier phase correction from a Trimble Pro XRS base station set up on a local control point. This arrangement allows us to provide our
customers centimeter level internal precision between survey points and sub- meter geodetic
accuracy for your GIS database.
